Dear Linwood Church Family, generic decease

We have a great summer that is about to begin and I just wanted to let you know that you are loved and prayed for. I would like to highlight several things in our church life.

SERIES OF DANIEL: We just started a new series on sermons, sale sale “The Secrets of Daniel.”  I am looking forward to discover great secrets of victory in personal life and service to God as we unlock the Book of Daniel every Sabbath during our worship time together as a church family.

THUNDER IN THE HOLY LAND: This is the name of new series of Bible Studies that we have started recently for our Wednesday night meetings. I need to say that to me the Wednesday night prayer meeting at Alan’s home is the highlight of my ministry. I look forward each time to sing, search to fellowship, to pray and to study God’s Word with our Wednesday prayer meeting family. It is open to anyone who would like to join us at 7 pm for exciting Bible Study series: Thunder in the Holy Land. We are meeting at 1202 East Blue Heron Court Spokane,WA 99208.

CAMP MEETING COMING UP SOON: The Camp Meeting this year will take place at UCA June 18-21, 2014. The theme of the Camp Meeting – More Like Jesus. I’m looking forward to a great time of fellowship and spiritual feast. We encourage our members and friends to participate in this great event but we will keep the doors of our church open for those who would like to worship at Linwood.

FRIENDSHIP CAMP: Exciting news! This year our friendship camp is August 7-10. The registration is already open and the registration form is in the bulletin and also on our church website. Linwood, Moses Lake and Spokane Slavic churches are sponsoring friends of our churches to come. Remember – the purpose of the camp is outreach. Please invite your friends to join great fellowship and recreation event. Our featured speaker this year will be Pastor Kevin Wilfley. We are looking forward for a true spiritual retreat!

“True success in any line of work is not the result of chance or accident or destiny. It is the outworking of God’s providences, the reward of faith and discretion, of virtue and perseverance. Fine mental qualities and a high moral tone are not the result of accident. God gives opportunities; success depends upon the use made of them.” – PK 486

Thank you for all you are doing in your service to God’s Kingdom.

Wishing you a wonderful summer,

Pastor Volody
