Please pray for wisdom to help students and families through spiritual trials and for grace to demonstrate Jesus to the students daily.

Hello and Goodbye! Say hello to Jorge Baute who is the new pastor of the Hayden Lake and Rathdrum churches. Isaias Hernandez who is the new pastor of the Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland Spanish churches. We say goodbye to Gerizin De Pena was the pastor there.  He has taken a call to the Oregon Conference. The Spokane Valley Adventist Church will be welcoming Pastor Teddy Shupe as their new senior pastor. Teddy will be leaving the Pasco Riverview Church where he has pastored for the last 17 years.

The Ten Commandments Musical: This Sabbath, October 3, at 4:pm the CdA Church will show the DVD “The Ten Commandments Musical ~ Love at Work” with Lonnie Melashenko Narrator.  This was recorded last year when performed LIVE at the Vallejo Drive Church in Glendale, CA.

Help with Long Term Fire Recovery: Volunteer to participate in the Community Rebuilding Mission Trip planned for October 25-November 2. Northwest Adventists will be working with faith-based organizations to help families in Chelan and Okanogan counties to rebuild homes from last year’s fire and help with recovery from this year’s fire. Today I watched UCA students unearth and bag over 7,000 pounds of potatoes from our one mile long crop. They were all Yukon Golds… the reds and whatever the other one is, haven’t been harvested yet.
