YOU'RE INVITED TO CONNECT WITH US

Welcome to Spokane Linwood Seventh-day Adventist Church! We are a warm, loving, spiritual fellowship and we are part of the Christian organization and fellowship of the Seventh-day Adventist Churches around the world.

We believe God has called us to share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ about His free gift of Salvation and Eternal Life in our generation and in the context of our community. We do so though Bible Study, Prayer Meetings, Community Services, Christian Education, Children ministries, and Mission Projects locally and internationally. We are eager to share God’s love with hurting people so they could experience healing and transforming power of God in their lives.

No matter your age or background in life, you have a place at Linwood Church - our mission is to guide people of all backgrounds into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and we are excited to meet you!  We would love for you to join us each Sabbath - 10 a.m. for Sabbath School for all ages and 11 a.m. for our Worship Service - whether online or in -person at our church in Spokane, Washington.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • ukraine refugees

As you are aware the war in Ukraine continues with cities being shelled, even the ones that are far away from the front lines, which in turn leads to millions of refugees fleeing from war. Not a whole lot of people know that there is also a mass migration from Russia: while 6 million people migrated out of Ukraine, 4 million have migrated out of Russia.

Within the last couple of months, the Spokane Slavic church has accepted eight new refugee families. As of right now, we know of another five families coming in November. These people come with one suitcase per person of their personal belongings, trying to start a new life in this country. They are in need of pretty much everything and anything, but especially beds, mattresses, tables, chairs, irons, ironing boards, microwaves, dressers, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. A couple of families are looking for rental housing.

If you can help with anything mentioned above please send a text to Pastor Slavik (509) 218-0301 with the picture and description of the item, and as needed, people will come by to pick up items.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pastor Slavik Ostapenko.
